2,000 runners present Citizens Bank Caesar Rodney Half Marathon & 5K

51st annual race benefits American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic  

Wilmington, DE – On Sunday, March 23  approximately 2,000 runners participated in the Citizens Bank Caesar Rodney Half Marathon & 5K. The event is now in its 51st year, benefits the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic. The half marathon race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and is named for Declaration of Independence signer Caesar Rodney.

Citizens Bank presented a $20,000 donation at 9:15 a.m. at Rodney Square in downtown Wilmington before the half marathon race. Citizens Bank Commercial Market Executive for Delaware and Central Pennsylvania Ted Prushinski, and Deborah Brown of the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic made remarks at the presentation.
