Campbell Soup Company – “Make a Difference Week”

In 2012, Campbell Soup Company enlisted Bellevue’s help with promoting its own employee volunteer program. Campbell designates a full week to volunteering in local communities as part of its annual “Make a Difference Week” program.

As part of “Make a Difference Week,” approximately 3,600 employees, including three-quarters of the staff headquartered in Camden, participated in 90 volunteer projects across the U.S. and Canada to support the company’s commitment to measurably improve the health of young people. Volunteer activities included sorting and packaging meals for local food banks, preparing and serving meals to families staying in shelters, renovating local community centers, and gleaning nutritionally sound, excess fruits for donation at area farms.

The program resulted in more than 4,500 service hours and $40,000 in grants to local non-profits. News coverage of Campbell’s “Make a Difference Week” included clips in local television, radio and newspaper outlets. The program garnered more than 350,000 media impressions resulting in more than $14,000 in total ad value.
