Campbell’s celebrates its heritage and local roots by offering free samples of its original Beefsteak Tomato Soup made from a 1915 recipe

Serving up a taste of nostalgia and history, Campbell’s has recreated its 1915Campbell’s Beefsteak Tomato Soup”. The ice cream connoisseurs at Franklin Fountain, a vintage ice cream parlor and soda fountain that celebrates the “forgotten flavors of the American past,” have also created a special-edition batch of Tomato Bisque ice cream inspired by Campbell’s Beefsteak Tomato soup. Reading Terminal Market’s 5th Annual Party for the Market Gala

Nearly 700 patrons donned their dancing shoes for Philly’s hottest winter party celebrating one of the nation’s oldest and largest public markets

PHILADELPHIAReading Terminal Market hosted its 5th Annual Party for the Market on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefited the Reading Terminal Market Preservation Trust to preserve the Market for future generations and support performing arts and other cultural programming.

With more than 600 attendees, the Party featured dancing, continuous live entertainment on two stages, four open bars featuring specialty cocktails, beer and wine, and a diverse selection of delicious foods and desserts that have been donated by more than 30 of the Market’s revered merchants. The evening also featured ambient entertainment stations that were arranged throughout the Market for guests, including a palm reader, latte art by Old City Coffee and “Adventure Tastings” of exotic and unusual fruits, veggies and cheeses at Fair Food Farmstand. Live musical performances took place on two stages and featured Delaware Valley’s premier party dance band, Six of One.
