The 24th Annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival at Reading Terminal Market Welcomes Country Traditions to Center City

Three-day festival featured homemade foods, handmade crafts, and live entertainment

PHILADELPHIA – Reading Terminal Market hosted the 24th Annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival on Thursday, August 8 through Saturday, August 10, 2013. This three-day festival took place in the Market’s Center Court from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and featured crafts including handmade brooms, wooden toys, and quilts. There was also a variety of traditional Amish foods including sausage sandwiches, hot ham sandwiches beef jerky, and birch beer, and more.  To satisfy the sweet tooth there was donuts, homemade ice cream and waffle cups, fudge and nut brittles, and funnel cakes.
